may I join this club? my latest acquisition came from a Ric 4003 trade. My wife wasn't initially impressed by the appearance of this Gibson T Bird then I played it for a while. Serious bottom end boom and punch. She's impressed now.

I need to do that with a toggle switch on one of mine. The switch is right next to the knobs and not connected so I just want it out of the way. This bass also has the strap buttons positioned next to the belly carve. It does make a difference in fretboard access.

@GBassNorth found it on Reverb and posted it about a week and a half ago. I just couldn't resist. The Reverb store is Vintage Advertising Ink in Dublin Virginia. Arrived well packed via USPS Priority. They offer some cool stuff. Reasonably priced.

Play ot through my Ampeg and she didn't sound as aggressive as what I heard on the store (which I don't like at the first time) using Fender amps. Might be Fender vs Ampeg things, but she sound perfect through my Ampeg!

Status graphite Jazz neck
Hipshot tuners and string retainer
Lowe Tbird body (Alder I believe)
Babicz bridge
White metallic paint
Dual EMG PX pickups

It originally had a tort guard but I swapped it for a carbon fiber guard that had been used on my 2001 Bird prior to the red accents. Very nice player. I might replace the pickups with Geezers to warm it up a little more. Most pics are from the seller.
