BTW, anybody in Europe Need a 2 Piece 'bird Bridge? I still have a Bach Bridge lying around since I ditched another Project, 50€ + shipping, maybe someone might find a use for it?

I know a couple of you guys are GK fans like myself.
Just won these guys to go with my GK Fusion 550. I have a 4 Ohm GK Neo 410 I use with it currently and I have never been disappointed in it. But I have been hearing great things about the 212iis and I remember how truly awesome the amp sounded running through the GK Neo 412 at the store.
I will be in a position to do direct comparison after I pick them up in the next day or so.

I've been using one of those with my summer weekend reggae band, and it does the gig nicely. I just got a second one, virtually both unused, from the same guy. I have to jig out from my preamp to my poweramp to run both- not an ideal thing that I should fix- but I'm pretty psyched also.

Yeah, I'm interested in how they do fit you.

Ireland is very much on my agenda. I'm hoping for 2017. Very proud of my Anglo Celtic (plus a bit of exotica) heritage.
Only ever been to NZ as a O/S destination. Last kid finishes high school in a few months, so I'm making plans:) - just need to get the Mrs across the line.

I was in Ireland earlier this year. Really liked it, a cool place to just hang out, but with some nice museums and galleries.

Question for you all: I've got the new T Bird coming hopefully for the weekend, what strings would you recommend I put on it? I've always used RS66s but as I have those on the Epi Bird I'd like something different. My knowledge of strings is at best limited to the Rotos which is what I've always used.
I use D'Addario nickel XLs. .130, .100, .80, .60 as far as gauges.

Lo-Riders unless I need them ASAP then I go with Boomers. The local store doesn't carry the 105s in DRs.
I'd rather go with old dead strings than boomers. Tried them once. Somehow took all the brightness out of my 70s Ibanez 4001 copy.

I almost wish I still needed a bridge, so I'd have a reason to take you up on that.

I remember the Reschs long necks by sight only. I could never stand it.:D

Yeah, I'm not a fan really but I learned over the years that Reschs is good really at the pubs that sell a lot of it. But be the freshness factor.
So, I actually asked the lady at the bar what the most popular beer was, Reschs was the 2nd one do I gave it a go on a whim.
My advice - if the Reschs is jb the top 2 most sold tap beers there, it will prob be good. :)

...and distilleries and breweries... ???

To be serious, yeah I think I'll love it. I have s list of places to go visit.

I hear that... I went through a period a couple of years ago where I was trying out different brands of strings... Some that I never tried before and some that I hadn't used in so long, I had forgotten what they sounded/felt like.

Boomers were among the latter, and I was reminded why they're called 'Boomers' as soon as I tuned them up (they ain't bright), and they lost what little 'zing' they had in like a minute.

I've got an '86 ibanez Pro Line, it's got EMG P/Js, for cheep...
I gotta get hired again and get caught up on some stuff. Might take you up on that once I'm back up and running.

I am past the first round interviews on four state jobs, and I expect to have a couple more first rounders coming. I'm on the list for further consideration and I'm waiting to hear when the face to face sit downs will happen. I expect that in the next week or two.

No endorsements for me :) ; but I agree with your Wishlist except for the Carlton Cold. My default is Coopers Pale Ale, the green label. All natural so I claim it as a health food.
But I have been developing a liking for Guinness (draught)... yum.

(Oh, and I love those Monaros, if you ever go for one try to find pre-Pontiac ones, boot is much better. I think the CV8R is sweet looking too.)
It's only available in the winter, but if you can find it, Founders Imperial Russian Stout is....transcendent.
