As I think about it a little further... You know some tech is going to rip off the tape, not understanding the importance of your settings. And since you will never change them, just krazy glue those pots in place.

I'd take less drastic measures like maybe writing down the settings I prefer.

If I ever get the Camaro turned back into a self propelled object instead of a garage ornament, I'll have to take a picture of it with the EB-2. Both are '68 as well. The car for sure, the bass as far as anybody can tell. Its serial number makes no sense.

Why? Their lack of marketing has kept them well behind Fender in the bass market so far!

Speaking of which, they don’t give a very good description of what pick ups are in there. And why couldn’t they have
had the neck pup like the original spacing, just back a bit.

I'm so glad that when I was younger concerts were affordable, I got to see UFO around this time, Schenker, Way, Raymond, Moog and Parker were real "Rock Stars" the %^$#*&( on fire, best 30 minutes of the day!
If you don't have 30 minutes FF to 25:00 for "Too Hot to Handle" , Way is not shy about swinging that '76 around, no standing the shadows for him! RIP, Paul Raymond and Pete Way.

Gotta love the huge '70s double bass drum kit all lit up, too. It looks like it could be acrylic and lit up inside.

Way, way too easy. If it's not an irreversible modification that might not work and could cause endless problems anyway, why even do it?

I found no reason to change mine… I thought it was weird to not put the knobs all in a row but not enough to change them up.

Exactly. Krazy glue is the answer. If it doesn't make the tech go red-faced and swear, you aren't trying hard enough.
