Yes, that's CA rules. States set their own rules, most of those that had them have gotten rid of split speed limits for cars/trucks

My Suburban goes just as fast as whatever the speed limit sign says. Up to about 65-70. Beyond that, it sucks down more fuel than I would like, I'm not made out of $$$. I need that for Thunderbird stuffs.

It is fairly regularly felony territory speeds around here. After the speeds I saw regularly at the track, the difference between 110 and the speed limit is a ticket. Speed in a straight line isn't that interesting. I go fast to avoid being squashed.

16 is about what I get around town & to work....about 19-21 mpg on the freeway. But I could almost shove your Triumph in the back and carry it around

You absolutely could do that. I hat a '73 Chevy van that got 10 mpg, then a 2002 that got 14 in town. My current van is a '10 Transit Connect that mostly fits the bike, but completely fits my gear and gets 22 to 24 in town. I even found an old USB mini? cable for it to hook to the PC, and most surprising of all - Linux had no problem at all working with it

There are 16!?Trying out Linux Mint 20.2, to see if it's what I want on the new computer. So far, so good...
It is pretty great, both color and sound.
Because it's a 2nd, it's got a couple of minor cosmetic issues that I don't care about, and has a high fret at 16th? fret on the G-string.
Well, D-string, since it's BEAD atm.
But it sounds great, the B-string sounds better on the Redbird than on the Pro 5.....
