Deep Sixx pickups ordered along with 72 tortex .88 triangle picks all that for under 100$ xP No need for picks anymore in the many years to come & i can't wait to hear these pickups through my rig & how my originals sound like! Also in news, today i start work on a few projects including two squier bass refinishes (for me & for my drummer) & the tigerbird neck! Stay tuned, i'll post pictures in bulk hopefully hahaha!

But he has small hands! ;)

He really does, especially for such a tall fellow at 6' 3". His hands are even too small for a man of average height.

"Trump does, in fact, have unusually small hands. 15th percentile small.

After numerous attempts to measure Trump’s hands – including Link Removed in the Post that analyzed photographs of the candidate – a journalist from The Hollywood Reporter cracked the case.

Near the exit of Madame Tussauds wax museum in New York hangs a bronze cast of Trump’s hand. It’s been there since 1997, after the museum’s artists took impressions of Trump’s body parts to create a wax figure of him for their collection.

The Hollywood Reporter measured his hand to be 7.25 inches from his wrist to the tip of his middle finger. (You can print out a life-sized outline of Trump’s hand here, and see how you stack up.)

According to [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] from Ergonomics Center of North Carolina, the average American male’s hand is 7.61 inches long. Trump’s hand sits at the 15th percentile mark. That is, 85 percent of American men have larger hands than Trump. As do a third of women."

@Larry V - the threaded portion of the shaft is too short, so it can't be fixed in place. I think maybe I need a Gibson style long shaft pot.

Yes, either that or thin the top inside the cavity where the pots are. I use a 1", 25mm, forstner bit in a drill press for that.

...or a router.
Sometimes I don't want to get that involved....

One thing i wish i had was thickness planner mounted under a table for quick & even planning. I get good result just with my electric hand planer but it would be easy if it was mounted underside a table. That & a table saw would make a world difference & ease for my projects
Craigslist! All kinds of killer tool deals on CL.

I just realized, maybe because I live in a whirlwind of teen angst, domestic logistical heck, and the world of work, that I have not one but TWO Gibson copies. I've also got two 7ender P copies, a fretless among them... and a couple other useful things (Hamer Mutant and Schecter Omen Ex-4). Brought the Gibby knockoffs both to a reggae gig tonight, no associative reason. Tight stage space says play the Aria EB-3. But I'm on for the T-Bird.
If I only had these two, I'd be ok.

First era of my thunderbird, kinda miss it like this to be honest. I'm glad how it turned out today, but with the new modifications i'll bring to it, it'll look great for sure! I might go gloss black but with a semi gloss finish just to have it look like stock. Upgrades soon, just gonna finish up the few projects i've got right now & tackle this bird soon afterwards.

You know what I find really annoying - Not receiving my thread update alerts for this club (while I still seem to get all my alerts for other threads for some reason) and now having to backtrack through three page of posts to catch up.

I just finished speed reading through the last three pages which does effect my comprehension and retention but as best I can recall it sounds like somebody in the club is disappointed with the short shaft they were given and is hoping that a different type of pot might solve the dilemma (I'd suggest Thai Stick, you'll forget all about whatever short comings exist in your life). However, that won't address the small hand syndrome, you'll just have to vote your conscience on that one.

I think that pretty much sums it up. :woot:

I'll get that once in a while on various threads for no apparent reason.
I try to make it a point to check my watched threads every day or two.

Well there you go. Found some long shaft pots (settle down lads) and rewired to the correct V-V configuration and it's still out if phase (as was expected).

Meanwhile EYGP reckon it's impossible for the pups to be out of phase.
I could be wrong but it seems to me that a nice clear photograph of both of the pups backsides would pretty much tell EYGP if they're wired wrong from the factory.
Another thought, (assuming you haven't tried this yet) measure the resistance of each pickup when disconnected from the pots. If TBird pups are like other pups the neck pup will have less resistance than the bridge pup. It could be they gave you two neck pups or two bridge pups.
