at phone browser size the steps in the background look like they are part of the car
It isn't my car - just some random photo from the internet, but my brother had a '62 Coupe de Ville in that color for a while. Driving it was like shooing a herd of buffalo through a swamp. It got great reactions, though. I would drive one if I had the money to blow and a place to put it. No steps growing out of the trunk, though. That would take up space in there, although the whole staircase would probably fit.

Carlo - our over achieving Queen has set the standard for vehicular photos to serve double duty as a TBird display. Your photo, as nice as it is, is missing something that would complete the picture. I'm thinking a nice deep blue or maybe a piano black Cat-Bird would look at home in that shot.

Now that I have my chambered 51 in house it's time to mod my reissue to something like this.
Can't wait to sell the fralin in it and get a thunderbucker 66s

On a similar vein, I have been tossing up putting a spare TBird pickup I have into a black Cabronita. I hate the standard Fender pickup that came with them, but the bass itself is great. Trying to decide whether to do that or buy a TV Jones pickup and install it.
