Thunderbird Club

Thanks. I'll check. Not sure which ones would be analog and which digital. Have to do some digging.

I was worried about sending too much or not enough power to any given pedal. I don't want one to not work or get fried.

not much worry about frying mostly poor performance and excessive noise

OK. Two shots of my DIY(unintended)relic-ing. Body damage mostly occurred when we were playing 6 nights/week for 5 1/2 years on a shallow stage. I stood right behind my stand mounted bari sax and my 'Bird would bump against the thumb rest thingy* on the horn. I was too busy playing to notice it. AFA the headstock? Well, it is a TBird HS-kinda out there. It's not that I'm happy/proud of the dings, but they are what they are. Some fine lookin' mahogany under there.

Not gonna be late for Thunderbird Thursday this time!

Had the Blackbird out, working on re-learning some of the old Motley Crüe songs I forgot years ago.
Figured that was the obvious bass for the job :D
(but the Nexus strings are a bit too....twangy? Dunno, might try something different on it, I guess. I kinda liked how the Roto 77s sounded........ )

So, that's what this week's pic is......

:)
I'll say it again. I like that Thinderbird.

Obeying the rule and not searching.... Thinking of putting the few pedals I have on board and single power supply. Since different pedals need different amounts of juice, would something like this still work?
Pigtone Pedal Power Supply Adapter 9V DC 1A 1000ma Tip Negative 5 Way Daisy Chain Cables for Guitar Effect Pedals
Never been a big effect person but do have an octave, phaser, tuner (and compressor I haven't used in years). At church we're thinking of moving things around and I and my stuff will likely be more visible. So I was thinking of a cheap one row board and power supply. My trusty phaser that Chuck brought back to life has an old 1/8 adapter and will require something else, like this...Pigtone Pedal Power Supply Adapter 9V DC 2A 2000ma Tip Negative 8 Way Daisy Chain Cables for Guitar Effect Pedals

I could just offer about $50 for this and sell what I don't need.
For Sale - cheap mini pedals phaser, looper, di
This is my pedalboard:

I initially used a Truetone Onespot, but I was getting noise. I figured out of the pedals (can’t remember which) was causing noise on the daisy chain, so I put it on its own power supply. That worked until recently when the Truetone supply started getting noisy.
I replaced both supplies with this one for about $30 from Amazon and it works great. It has blue LEDs that backlight my board from underneath:

Nice. Thanks for the comments. I keep thinking the Gokko mini in the link would work. By the time a buy a board, supply and cables I could have bought the one in classifieds and have some pedals to either keep or most likely sell for about what a new board and supply would cost. Or just buy want I want. I don't need much room, unless I put my Sonic (Maximizer) Stomp on it, but they suggest the efx loop.

Do you find the square board awkward in any way as opposed to one row?

The ghetto pedalboard I made was one of these:
HEJNE Shelf, softwood, 30 3/8x11" 2 pack - IKEA

Cheap. A couple of bucks on fluorescent yellow spray paint...

Pedal board for about $20 all in.

Aussies and a C-17

Holy cow! To be there had to be almost unnerving, and so cool.

We were on vacation in Gulf Shores, AL a year or so after 911 as I recall. We were on the balcony and this big yellow helicopter was flying right at our level on about the 10th 12th floor and came right up to our building and made a hard left and pulled away. We kept thinking is this dude going to turn or is he going to run into the condo. It was to the point where I thought it was pointless to run inside so just stay there and it is what it is. It was a big helicopter like the one below if not the exact same kind.
