Took awhile, but Gibson finally sent me this today.

I’m on the road, so I’ll pick it up Monday, but today a custom shop luthier is doing a setup and fret dressing. I’m pretty stoked![]()
I'm not either, but do love my phaser. It's a must have as far as I'm concerned. It's like a spice. It's good with some things but you don't want it in everything, and it doesn't take much or it's too much and nasty. Thanks, you are literally too kind!I’m not big on pedals for bass but those clips sounded pretty good. The Helix was relatively subtle but added warmth and presence and a fuller sound with a hint of swirling reverb. BTW - nice playing.![]()
Wait, Love Will Keep Us Together is really..... OK, no it's not. So we can.Can we just say the entire Captain and Tennille catalogue?
Yeah, I don't really float in those circles. Buttons work just fine.I have never owned a shirt that needed cuff links.
Stairway to Heaven must be #2...I'd rather listen to this -
Muskrat Love being waaay up that list.

I get that there are a ship(sp?) load of songs we could live without. However. Our band doesn't play "shows". We play for our 55+y/o crowd's enjoyment. If they request something and we know it, we play it. And for the 3 +/- minutes it takes for me to sing "Mustang Sally", we don't have to give it a lotta thought(no, we're not on automatic pilot-we 'make it our own'). "Wanna hear "Free Bird?" No problem. Puts us about 5 minutes closer to the end of the night. "Brown Eyed Girl"? Packs the dance floor. Keeps the crowd happy. AND THEY WANT US BACK and tell management. And we have fun, too. I've discovered I actually enjoy contributing to people having a good time!
We were booked every every weekend last year-'til COVID-lost 65 gigs. The places we play(ed) are slooowly coming back, but at reduced $. They're not making as much so they're not paying as much.
I s'pose you could consider this a bit of a rant, but at 76, IDK how much longer I'll be able to play so I'm gonna do it while I still can.
Sure as hell don't hafta learn this week's 'flash in the pan' overproduced P.O.S., 2 chord, 5 note melody "hit"-that no one will remember in a month.
Oh. I useta do MacArthur Park.
Have mercy!!!!!!Meanwhile at Lulls......... I have to get @$$ up to Bellevue for a look at these!

So tell us more about the finish, I’ve never seen anything like it. The back side almost looks like a lace undergarment.
I would have said lacy bra and panties, but well...........Ya know![]()

Ummmm, NO! (the black sox/slides really finish it off)

Thanks, I'll pass. Although the black(compression)sox and sandals used to be popular with our senior snowbirds.Don't knock it until you try it!Although you'd catch a cold wearing such in the Bay Area. You also would get some.., attention in the Castro...

Hairy tix.I know what you mean. I don't care for VM's, but do like Heny Paul's.
