It’ll be the weekend place for three to four years. May place it with local vacation rental agency (our realtor) for extra cash. Come on out to Cali once we’re settled in and we’ll plug in and play for the bears.

I bought one of those unloaded a few years ago and put a JBL D130/140 in it. It was fine, but the value was all in the driver.
The Peavey is tall and shallow.
I ended up getting an Ampeg 1x15 Classic cab to match my 2x10, so I sold the Peavey.
Which reminds me I still have an old CTS 15 in my attic. Hmmm…

When I get home tonight (or maybe tomorrow......) I'll figure out how to take it apart, to see exactly what it is, and what's going on with it.
I've been doing some research, and it seems there's some foam in the speaker that disintegrates over time & causes issues? Probably worth checking at least.
From what I've been able to find, looks like it's from (the year I started high school) 1986?
would definitely check that first….dagrev’s phaser had the same issue; when the foam disintegrates the residue turns acidic and eats through interconnect……
curiously when rubber belts go south they form this guck that will only come off with acetone…

We looked at a 'blemished' fridge at a Sears Outlet store. Searched all over for it. Salesman pulled it out from between 2 others. 1/2" scratch on the lower side, completely hidden when next to a counter.
Sounds like a great plan. From the looks of it I can't imagine you all not loving it. It just looks great.
One day I would love to get out West. If I ever do, I sure hope to meet up with some of the Thunderbirders out that way--and all points in between.

I loved my old Peavey 215. It was a hog, but would fit in the back of 76 Chrysler Córdoba believe it or not. It took some doing but it would fit in the backseat. Of course that was in the days of real cars.

This one's no light-weight either, the guy from the store dollied it out & put it on the tailgate - not entirely sure yet how I'm getting it into my apartment......
