I was brought back around.![]()
I vote darn good copy.
Very possibly, but I suspect known players can get Gibson to make all kinds of things. Especially if it might end up in a video (aka free advertisement).
Also, now I want a Thunderbird with all four tuning pegs in the shape of the bird from the Woodstock logo. Or Woodstock from Charlie Brown.
There’s this:Also a pickguard with Peanuts' Woodstock on it.
Always liked that song - great bass-playing! Here's another great song from around the same time that also has a great bass-line.
I had a Univox 1-15 folded horn cab. That thing was huge!I admit I'm a sucker for a folded horn, but never bought one.
Don't forget Mark Hollis' solo album which was the logical conclusion of "Laughing stock"That is such a great album. I recall seeing a video of "Life's What You Make It" and was hooked. The studio version doesn't even have a bass guitar on it.
Hard to choose between "The Colour Of Spring" and "Spirit Of Eden", both equally great. "Laughing Stock" is great too but a bit of 'Son of Spirit'. Before that it was progress all the way.

What’s in front of the handle?
I could do the sticker for “B”THIS!
AND THIS!
That was certainly one reason I never bought one. I've never moved one that was not HEAVY!I had a Univox 1-15 folded horn cab. That thing was huge!
I traded it for a Blackface Champ and got an Acoustic 106 cab. That was certainly one reason I never bought one. I've never moved one that was not HEAVY!
I passed on a 60’s Dual Showman with a 212 cab a few years ago. But my buddy bought it. Hmmm I should ask if he’s got it running…I'd like one of those myself, I'm an old Fender man, I have a couple of old Fenders at home, my first good amp was a '67 Dual Showman.
Can you do Woodstock looking more aggressive, like a thunderbird? More like this:
