Thunderbird Club

The one I was thinking of was similar to that. It was red (with "wood" panels), and gorgeous.
Or there's this. BTW, the rear area w/o a rear seat is cavernous. You could fit an SVT/810 rig, a PA system, and 3-4 THUNDERBIRDS back there.

that unfinished one is about as close as you can get to a full wood Tbird. No metal hardware, no metal strings, no pickups, no screws, no frets, just a truss rod I assume.

LOL - I was just getting ready to post this ad …

…then I saw your post. Hard to believe someone actually built that monstrosity as part of their new car line up as late the early 1980’s. Makes one wonder how many they actually sold.

On the plus side, At least you could fit a lot of thunderbirds in it with the top down.

Yep, truss rod is the only metal.
The only other bit on it that's not wood, AFAIK, is whatever the fret dots are made of ;)

Someday, I'll get some kind of work done on it......

Good evening Thunderbird loving sisters and brothers. Happy to report that I took the new NR Bird to my lesson today and surprised the heck out of my instructor. He gave it a once over and convinced me to let him raise both pickups a bit. I have to say it gave it some additional growl. I very happy with it so far, it seems to have been built with great attention to detail. I may try some flats, or pressure wounds or some such on it soon.
I am attempting to learn Fool in the Rain by Led Zeppelin. My band is hoping to add it and I am having some difficulty with JPJ's bass line. I don't seem to have found the the right transcription yet. If anyone has any leads or advice on learning this song, I would greatly appreciate it. It is a great song, and the more I listen to it, the more I hear going on with his playing.
I hope everyone is having a good week. Stay warm. Stay well.
wasn’t JPJ on keys playing bass on pedals on that one?..
