I thought the Inverness green was too close to Pelham blue, the burgundy is nice on the 21 NR’s.
I think they have to step up the “60th Anniversary Edition” colours, but you know if it’s a 60th all we gonna get is burst…. I wouldn’t mind white.
The evolution keeps getting better and better, that clear scratchplate makes it one of the best looking bursts yet.

That's the hottness right there. Did you make the body? If not where did you get it? I have a project that needs a nice T-Bird body but can't find a supplier that will provide my options.
What don’t you like?
The 4004 is super ergonomically comfortable, but out of production and expensive as shag.
I have been told the 4003s is similar in feel, but I prefer the non-s with binding and sharkfin inlays.
Swing by anytime and you can try one out… hope you like fretless.

Not hardly. He stole Rick Nielsen's quintuple neck, wearing some baggggy jeans. Stole that guitar right out of his hands on stage at the Budokan Reunion show. That ol' cowboy was so slick nobody noticed - not Rick, the fans, nobody - leastways till the roadie came to swap guitars after the song. They had to replay the video three times after the concert afore they caught it. By then, that ol' Texas boy was back home playin' the guitar in his safe room out at his ranch. That was the really slick part. Ain't nobody figgered out how he got back home that quick!

How did you make the B pu-surround screw holes disappear?
double sided tape.
I think I ran across someone selling the rings without holes, but I can’t remember who. Maybe thunderb ranch?
Probably screw heads glued into place on a trim ring with adhesive backing. At least that’s how I’d do it.

I'll be your distributor East of the Mississippi at no charge. Just send me a couple and I'll try to sell them. But don't expect quick sales. I'll need to play them out to attract attention. These things take time. Two sent my way should be good for starters.
The supplier was Gluff Guitars on eBay (may also have a Facebook or Etsy site). It’s a semi hollow body with a tummy cut flat poplar back, frame and center block and a figured maple top with raised center section. I elected to only have a neck pocket and control cavity route. The quality and the price were very good.
But beware it really doesn’t follow any of the standard tried and true Thunderbird design or construction concepts and will require a Fender spec neck, which doesn’t necessarily work seamlessly with a Gibson spec bridge. So how much it sounds and looks like an authentic Tbird is much more dependent on the rest of the parts you use.
