I do not know if there is an Epiphone shaped case like this for the NR, but if there is, I would definitely like to buy one.

I will be buying another Epiphone reverse case, it’s very nice.

I know the feeling. I bought a case that I was told my 67 NR would fit in. Yep. All I woulda hadda do was cut ~2" offa da headstock. Refund.

That looks like a 408 cabinet. I kinda miss the 320 head and 408 cabinet I had. But it was that or the 360 stack, not both. Oh, well. It is an absolutely enormous cabinet, but lighter than you might expect. And it sure sounded good. As I recall, it was a 2 ohm cabinet, which is fairly unique.

:thumbsup: Interesting about dyes. I hadn't heard of that one. Seems more tricky in some ways.

This Firebird guard says its "vintage yellow". I don't know if that means its aged white or more of the tan trim color you see on some Gibson/Epi's.

I like my Epi case (like the one in the pic) just fine and use it for all my Thunderbirds. Protects well and doesn't weigh more than a cab.
