Porterhouse hey? Another thing we don’t share the same name for.
If I assume the bone is in we call it a T-bone Steak (I love ‘em). Otherwise the bigger piece of meat (without the bone) is Sirloin, and the small side is Porterhouse - NY strip I’ve been told.

We also have Chuck steak lol. A guy I went to school with had the name Stuart. Of course he was known to all and sundry as Chuck.

(Stuart > Stu > Chuck because you use Chuck steak in a stew (or braise)).

Lucky we all speak the same language!

My wife told me she wanted to watch the halftime show, and I didn’t even know when it started…

So I’m scrambling to find an app or something to watch it on…

I find out it starts 630 eastern time, then have to do math to figure out when that is mountain time…

I still haven’t found a way to watch it…

Then I tell her I found out who is doing the halftime show and she says “never mind”…

This is the last superbowel I actually watched…

I'd gone over to the "Stupid Bowl" during commercials to see the score. Then the "halftime show" came on. That's why I'm now on computer.

I went for a nice 2.5hr bicycle ride earlier - traffic in general was moderate to low and the Golden Gate Bridge was very devoid of tourists. (unusual for such a nice, warm day) I've always taken advantage of stupid-bowl Sunday by getting out for a bicycle or motorcycle ride while 'everybody' is inside/off the roads.

Has anyone heard of Superb Owl Sunday? I'm all for it!

we have T-bone here as well, the porterhouses is essentially the same thing with a larger filet because it comes from further up….chuck is what many use over here along with sirloin to make burgers..
rib steak looked better than anything they had today…

Well I’ll agree Rib Eye on the bone is the best. Looks like we are talking about the same thing.

Real fire. Good man!

While I like(American)football, I don't give the slightest ratz@$$ who wins today. I'll prolly watch whatever Olympic event is on[under ice basket weaving?]or maybe practice this ol' thing:

SB Sunday is a great evening to hit your favorite restaurant. They tend to be fairly empty. Just tip extra!

Yeah, I've got some train videos to re-watch. Or live on "Virtual Railfan".
BTW, 2 gigs this past weekend. One on 67NR TBird(lotsa room on stage); one on EB-0(no room, no stage).
I have no problem going from one to the other. I suck equally on both.:smug:

I’ve seen the video to know otherwise on suckage!

Awesome - always liked Nilsson and that song but never saw this 'of the time' vid. re: "The Goon Show", "The Monkees" and various other uses of gorilla costumes in that era. I saw Steve Miller in around '72-'73 and the band started w/o him on stage and he ran through the audience from the back in a gorilla-suit, jumped up on the stage while they were playing, took off the gorilla head, grabbed his guitar and started the set. I can't recall how he got out of the gorilla suit but he did.

Everything looks better "on-line"...
