I think you'll like them. I like low tension strings (I've used 30-95's in the past) and I can't imagine going any lower than the 40-100 SuperBrights now.

I think you'll like them. I like low tension strings (I've used 30-95's in the past) and I can't imagine going any lower than the 40-100 SuperBrights now.
I have the Marcus Miller Super Brights on right now. So far, so good. They've been on for a little over a month and have retained their bite and tone.
I picked up a pack of the standard Super Brights last Friday (don't know the difference between the MM set?), and am loving them so far. Haven't plug into my rig, but I can tell they still maintain the growl I'm looking for. Absolutely love the tension and feel. $17.99 at my local GC......I'm not complaining!
I ordered the Super Brights (not Marcus Miller) on Friday to compare in the next few months. The MMs are supposed to have a bit more booty to them but they were a bit pricier (endorsement, you know). Thought I'd check out the standard Super Brights, even planning to compare the 5string to my beloved Fat Beams. I did notice jumping from the Fats to HiBeams that I lost the booty so if the Super Brights disappoint there, they won't be long on that bass and will be lucky to see a gig.
The only thing you can complain about is overpaying! Get them from Bass Strings Online.

I would be suprised if BSO didn't match or do better.
I paid much less than $14 per 5 string set (during the big BSO SB sale).
We did a special on Super Brights in August. Our special was a little more aggressive than theirs. Unfortunately I can not do the special price we did in August but no problem matching their current special. I have set the VIP pricing to match the competitor while their special is active.

I like the sound and feel of Dunlop Super Brights Stainless Steel. But, the inconsistencies of intonation is not worth it. I've been setting up my basses for 32 years and every time I change Dunlops SB, I have to significantly move one or more saddles from the previous sets. Sometimes up to a half an inch. If Dunlop would fix this problem, they would be my go to string. I've had this issue on my Fodera Emperor II, Roscoe Century Plus & my Ken Smith BSR5. I even got 2 D strings in one set. No G string was supplied.
This blows because the sound great, last a long time and are cheap. After buying 6 sets from the BSO special, I'm going back to DRs and or Foderas.

I have been hearing about this a lot with the super brights. My first try the E string broke while winding it on the post, not even up to tune yet. I got a hold of customer service, and they took care of it, and sent replacements- and wanted some feedback. I sent several responses and never heard back from them again, so I guess they may not be the company/string for me.

Strange, I've been through about 15 sets of SuperBrights now spread out among 5 basses and never had to move any saddles at all. Of course I've never had a broken string either.

The stainless set has broken in on my Benavente. I am liking the sound, I'm also liking the tension with this bass. They feel like the same tension with Anthony Jackson sig set I use on my Fodera.
I wish they fix this issue too because they're great strings. I had one set on for 2 months and still sounding fresh. I usually change strings much sooner than that. The next set, I couldn't intonate the G string at all. Now, this is the stainless steel sets 45-125 I've been using.
