To Me, Fender Is.......

The cause of many Internet arguments.

The root of a lot of stress.

The absolute most enjoyable toy I've ever played with.

The root of a lot of stress...... Definitely!!! Especially in your case!!! But, when it's all said & done, I bet my left nut that there's no regrets on you about owning what you own. I know damn good & well that I'd go thru hell n' high water to get what you stumbled across. That story STILL amazes me to this very day. Unreal.......

...but clearly the kind of bass that others are after - Sadowsky, Lull, A.C., Lakland, Dingwall, Kallas, M, and many more..."As a learning tool"

Yes...

To Me, Fender is...

...A learning tool that taught other luthiers how to build a bass!

:bassist:

once you have the income and are willing to buy a Sadowsky you have done a big enough part of your learning and your are ready to move to something else.

Many people got a Fender as their first instrument, so they learn basic thing, past a certain level they seek out what won't hold them to attaint the next level

Many people also have a Fender learn to mod to suit their need ... and mod so much that only the body or the neck is still a Fender.

So, if I stay with a Fender, it will 'hold me back from attaining the next level,' is that what you are saying? You're serious? Ever heard of a guy named Jaco Pastorius?
Lol. Just lol.

I hear ya' Clef...

Although a Sadowsky is basically a Custom Shop Fender. I mean, c'mon. Right?

And seriously...if you haven't already done so, go and play some 2012 MIA Standard P's and J's.

Clef...go and do that.

Promise.

:)

So, the Fender policeman did his job.

Oh look, a cartoon, and a backwards thingy. Awesome! What grade are you in?

Slick? Thanks man.

I'm sorry, did it go over your head?

Sheesh. You can't take a little ribbing?

Wanna buy my Fender Jazz?

To me Fender is the Stradivarius of our time among a lot of other things.

Oh and Turock.
Did you by a chance notice how there was no disagreements and no arguing in this thread before you started posting?
Also I was wondering if you had put any thought into how this reflects on you as a board member and as well just for kicks is it possible for you to answer this in at least a two paragraph 100 or more character format?

Thanks in advance.
