Just got an MI Audio Neo Fuzz. this thing is Slick!

Wounded Paw Battering Ram - versatile OD and the octave up fuzz is creammyyyy
Blackout Effectors Musket Fuzz - this thing is a sexy muff clone
Green Russian Muff - classic tone

eh thats all i got

NOT in order:

1) Llama Rojo (essentially same as Polish Love et al.)
2) Holy Fire
3) OD channel of Disnortion (essentially same as Polysaturator)
4) Blueberry
5) Bassweet
6) 3XFX Fatman

I'll probably be buried with my Blueberry. The Llama is my b***h right now, but (a) only after swapping input caps, and (b) best when blended 50/50 with the clean signal, so I would dump this one if I found (or built) one with the blend built in. The Bassweet and Fatman are my best buds for heavy destructo doom, but I only feel like playing that stuff on alternate Thursdays, so I can live without them. I sold the Fatman, Disnortion, and Holy Fire already, but I'd buy them again... well, I'd buy the Polysaturator, not the whole Disnortion. :p Confusing, no?

Robot factory tlsf, earthbound audio super collider, polish love, modded rat by Ryan at fuzzrocious, zvex wooly mammoth (not versatile at all but hey.....its still a great pedal), mxr m80 (something about this pedal that makes it shine. Highly underrated I believe)

1.Dwarfcraft Devices Shiva (fat, deep and grindy with the sickest feedback on earth)
2. Barber LTD SR (THE low gain drive tone ive been searching for, sounds great with my 2000S when cranked)
3. Devi Ever Rocket (VFM was useless to me but made wonderful feedback. SM side was great at low gain settings, really tight and full sounding)
4. Devi Ever Cherry Pop (crushing lows, but was a little bit slow to respond with my setup)
5. English Muff'n (great breakup and response but the treble EQ was too brittle sounding for the tone I was going for. Sounded weak with my 2000S but great with my GK)
6.Devi Ever OK (really glitchy and stuttery, not a ton of low bass but the low mids kicked so hard that it made up for it. Remarkably useful for such a weird fuzz)

Runner up would be the USA big muff that I modded with the creamy dreamer cap switch and bigger caps. Just not enough mids to cut it for me.

Ok, here is my list.

HBE Hematoma - Awesome, awesome low to medium gain growl, and it can even get into fuzz territory. Plus, the boost side is pretty handy. My guitarist described it as "Big breakdown... BIGGER BREAKDOWN!"

Zoom Ultra Fuzz - Super cool sounding fuzz, but it just ultimately didn't work for my context. If I were in a funk group or something that required articulation over sheer walls of doom, I'd still have it.

Big Muff Pi (Black Russian) - Speaking of sheer walls of doom... I keep kicking myself for selling this one.

Visual Sound Dr. Jeckyl & Mr. Hyde - Way cool sounding distortion/overdrive. I have never owned it, but I ought to just break down and buy one.

Tech21 VT Bass - Always on. Gets the "pissed off SVT" sound better than anything else I've ever come across.

Digitech Bad Monkey - Killer little box, especially when you consider that it costs less than $50.

  • XXL Bass - Awesome crunch, even at max gain/max tone. Using this after other dirt with gain min/tone max and messing with the warp knob yields some interesting results
  • Digitech Grunge - Can give some pretty stonerish tones. Cheap.
  • Prunes and Custard - Fat fuzz -> FIRE MAH LAZORZ in a box. Some nice synthy awesome, especially strange with the XXLB running after it

I must say that the Grunge's position on the list has been replaced by the Supercollider.

Its like true stoner/doom in a box. Not as overtly "gritty" as the Goat, Pickle or the XXL even, but still fuzzy.

I guess the list goes:
  • English Muff'n
  • Attack Goat
  • Supercollider
  • Swollen Pickle
  • XXL Bass
  • Prunes & Custard

Pretty much in that order too

1# Robot Factory White Russian... muff with blend and two band eq... plus strave and oscillation.. NICE

2# Prunes and Custard... nothing like it.

3# Malekko Double Germ... Evil... yet smooth. Like starbucks

4#DHA vt-1 mk3... Tube goodness... with TONS of options

5# Malekko silicon.. WALL of cutting fuzz

6# Robot Factory LTNFB... Noisebox on acid... god I will miss that thing
