That was neat, the sun is now back to full in Oregon. Them squiggly shadow snakes were fun.![]()
Yes, those were interesting. We were in Woodburn, OR, in an outlet mall parking lot. We were near some trees, and the gaps between the leaves worked like pinhole cameras, projecting inverted images of the eclipse onto the asphalt. That was unexpected, and very cool.
Totality was awesome too. I probably wouldn't have traveled to see it, but we happened to be in Oregon for other reasons, so we weren't going to miss it. The overall experience was great.
