Leaving the ramp on the upper end of Smith lake Sunday morning.

The Smith lake dam. It’s an earthen dam a little over 500 yards across, holding back 21,200 acres of water that reaches 264 feet at it’s deepest point.

What were you fishing for? Bass? ;-)
yes. We had several striper hot spots in the GPS, but floaties being pulled by wake boats and steady party barge traffic on the main channel kept us pushed back into unknown territory. We still had a good day with spotted bass up around the dam later in the day. :D
