Transformers 2

Is she using a brush on an airbrushed design in that pic ? Isn't that painfully ******** ?

Haven't seen it, but the mentions of robot humping, somewhat racist robots and general stupidity (wrecking balls as balls, really ?) doesn't make it too hot for me. The fact that it's three hours long doesn't help either. Not that I have a short attention span, but three hours of robots duking it out ?

PS: Am I the only one to think that the Dark Knight wasn't all THAT good ? It's a good movie, but enough so that it becomes the benchmark from wich all other movies are judged ?

i liked it overall.. but id give it a B- compared to the first movie's A.

unnecessary cheap comedy. the 2 ******** twins? ugh. could have been a lot better.

the CG was bright and powerful, but busy, and at some times confusing. i get it, they set the bar WAY too high and wanted it to be out this century, but they took a lot of shortcuts on fight scenes. big robotic blurs.

I saw the first one at an Imax and I agree. It was just a big blur. I'm not even gonna go see this one...I'll wait. Then again I'm gettin cheap in my years.

I'm hoping to see this on Friday, since Terminator Salvation has already been taken out of the local theaters before I've had a chance to see it. Grrrr... ;)

I was more of a Gobots watcher as a kid (I had a crush on Smallfoot...I was a strange child), mainly because it was on in the morning before school rather than Transformers.

I avoid Michael Bay movies whenever possible. And I never got into Transformers as a kid. So I'll skip it, as I did the first one.

This guy makes a good, broader point. The old "it's just a popcorn movie" excuse for glaring plot holes and bad acting doesn't work. There are actually pretty well-made popcorn movies out there (like Dark Knight, Iron Man and the Pixar stuff, IMO).

I saw it today.

I liked the first one better.

It wasn't horrible, but meh. Yeah, Megan Fox was hot. I felt like they were trying to cram too much into the time span [2.5hrs!!]. So, plot suffered because of that. I thought the leg humping was very amusing given the context. The giant balls-meh. Overall, it was worth the $6.50. It kept me entertained for 2.5hrs. Yeah, my attention span started to slip, but that was mostly due to drinking a 44 oz soda, so once I took care of that, I was able to enjoy the rest of the movie.

I will end up buying this on DVD, but definitely won't preorder it. In the DVD & video game world-I've only preordered 2 things. The Dark Knight & GTA San Andreas [if I had a 360, I would have preordered GTA IV].
