I just purchased a Squier P-Bass (Yes I'm a virgin) two days ago, let the modding begin right?!?!? My first bass, sad right.

It's ugly, aggressive and probably looks worse now than when I got it.....but I really like it.

Ok after months of teasin and screwin i got this..SQ Vint Mod 70's..MEC Active pups from a Warwick Corvette '89, Seymour Duncan active 2-way preamp, bridge and tuning machines from a Fender Jazz MIJ '85 in black, graphite nut also painted black and a Fender neckplate to add a little classbtw it's an awesome instrument, awesome playability, fat modern jazz sound with a possibility to vintage itself up..lovin it!

Before and after photos of a 2004 Squier Jazz I picked up. Love the way it looks and sounds now with the maple neck, split 55 pups, hipshot fender vintage bridge and some chrome flats.
How do you like the super 55s? Been wanting to try them.
