I'm no scientist.
Putting full syn in an old Honda 750 caused the clutch to immediately start slipping. I thought that that must mean something. Idaknow.
It was a good excuse to replace the clutch with a Barnett heavy duty.

In that kind of bike you should use oil that is rated for use with wet clutches.

Both types of engine oil are made from crude oil that comes from the ground. The difference is that synthetic motor oils are made from more advanced refining processes and are of a higher purity and quality than conventional mineral oils or semi-synthetic oils.

Mobil1 15w50 in my Road King's engine and primary ... no problem with the wet clutch hookin' up. I buy it at Walmart for around $25 for 5 qts. Redline Shockproof Heavy in the Harley's tranny. Any major brand synthetic in my cars.

According to Wikipedia (and contrary to popular belief), Invalid Link Removed were not produced by dinosaur remains, but by "ancient fossilized organic materials, such as Invalid Link Removed and algae".
