@Ross Davies Is there a master list of DynIR cab descriptions available? Something like what shows up on a hover-over in the Remote software? And is there anything preventing the info box from displaying when hovering over the loaded cabs? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for getting back to me. At preset the only master list would be our website - check the following link where you can drill down into each cab in our collection.

There is nothing that prevents this loading in Remote / The Cabinet Manager however this info has not been implemented in GENOME... Yet! :)

Sounds like an Excel opportunity for some brave soul.
It just keeps growing!

Yet... gotcha! :) And hopefully the phase invert is still on the drawing board. ;)

Ha! It indeed keeps on growing - it is a mammoth undertaking but I will certainly look into this.

Absolutely, Phase Invert has most certainly been fed back!

Hi Guys, Hope you're all good!

Just thought I would jump in to say we have released our Reload II Feature Run-Down video here...

If you have any questions let me know - always happy to weigh in and help! In addition, for any of you looking for Reload II's ICs, you will be happy to hear that we will be releasing these on Thursday this week and I will make a note to upload them here.

PS. If you ever wondered what I look/sound like, behold! :D

Hi Everyone,

Following on from my post above, since launching Reload II we have been asked a lot of questions concerning the new––and improved––Celestion Approved Load Response, including multiple requests for the impedance curves for our latest flagship attenuator / amplifier. In developing Reload II's all-new reactive load we were conscious not to match to a specific speaker (due to variations rooted in the accompanying enclosure size) but to a range of drivers, averaging the impedance for optimum performance across the breadth of amplifiers on the market. The diagrams linked below illustrate the impedance curves of Reload II's reactive load when set at 4-, 8- or 16-Ohms operation.

4Ω Impedance Curve
8Ω Impedance Curve
16Ω Impedance Curve

If you have any questions concerning this, please do not hesitate to let me know - I am always happy to dive in and help!

@Ross Davies A few questions in Genome:
1) I see the Studio EQ has a min frequency of 20Hz whereas Codex's Custom EQ (and Bass EQ)seems to bottom out at 50Hz. Is there anything preventing the dev team from letting the Custom EQ go lower?
2) Using Resonant HPF/LPF EQs blended in with dry signals has gained a "resurgence" as of late. It looks like the Studio EQ can do such a thing (awesome!) so what is the best method to blend a wet (Studio EQ)/dry signal? Is it just splitting and merging while leaving the 2nd "lane" empty, then using the merging mixer? TIA

Hi Charlie, Thanks for getting in touch.

Regarding CODEX's EQ, I am sure this can be accommodated and I have fed this back. In term os the blended signals, you are indeed correct - split the lanes and leave one of the empty; you can then use the Lane Merge Mixer to adjust the Dry/Wet blend!

Let me know if this helps!

Can I make the same request for the Custom EQ on Opus to go lower as well? Thank you!

Getting that familiar feeling whenever my pedalboard has stayed the same too long. Currently using a quad cortex which is great but massive and I miss being able to fit more of my pedals on my relatively compact board, especially given I only really use the QC for light compression, amp and IRs.

Would Genome be an accurate representation of the Opus if I only used amps and cab sims available on both?

Thanks for getting in touch. In terms of the Cab emulation, the DynIR engine in OPUS is the same as in GENOME, however you can only load one DynIR in the OPUS architecture. On the Amp Sim front, the TSM Amps in GENOME are in OPUS, however OPUS cannot load the TSM-Ai amplifiers. Let me know if this helps and if you need any more info, I am here to help!

That's super helpful, I'm mostly intrigued by how the power amp modelling will work with my Science Mother and Model FeT preamps. Will jump on a free trial and see how I get on!

Thanks again!

Not quite an apples-to-apples comparison, but I suspect either of your preamp pedals would combine very well with the power amp modelling. On one of the presets loaded into my Torpedo CAB M+, I have the power amp emulation engaged, and use it in tandem with a Sushi Box tube preamp on my board. This combination is super delicious, especially for simulating a pushed tube amp nearly on the rails; I run the Sushi (either a London Underground, or Underground Accelerator depending on which board) just on the edge of breakup, and then feed that into the Torpedo with the tube power amp engaged, also set for edge of breakup. The combo is devastating!

So...I'm thinking about adding a second OPUS to my board for a Wet/Dry arrangement. Having the full pallet on the XLR's and no DynIR on the 1/4" outputs going to each of the channels in a Fender Adam Clayton Bass 50.

One tube channel Dry in the classic and the other modern flat channel Wet.

The journey continues...

Well that sounds killer! Cant wait to see if you go ahead with this and a picture is definitely needed! :)

I would imagine that should sound great!

Good luck!

I could totally use two C.A.B. M+ units, as well. But, having one OPUS...it seems like the thing to do...a situation is driving putting a smaller, but functional amp on stage, with a non-stereo signal requirement where the wet/dry makes for better execution. Of course, a slight reconfiguration can bring a stereo (recording) situation online, too.

I also have decided that I could shed an EQ pedal, compressor and one effect by going with the Source Audio UltraWave Bass and gain even more in the process. So, I have the room to do it, the second OPUS in a wet/dry application has everything you could want at the end of the chain and I dont have to use midi resources with each OPUS set to one amp!

Things are a bit wack right now, but getting better, so the amp is in the not too distant future, but the other is in the works right now.

Cheers 🤞🏼
