I had one and returned and want to get another but I don't really do the numbers thing any more.
Just received my Le Bass today from a TB'r used!! Awesome!!! Just Awesome!! Pure tube tone! I am really looking forward to using this live!!
Plugged into the Le Bass with my G&L L2500, dialed in some channel A with some driven channel B and the Justin Chancellor tone came snarling out!! This little preamp is a game changer for me. The tone my ears have been searching for. Now I must run it through my Carvin BX1500 and cabs! Just tested with my working man 12 SWR. Hell I might grab another as a dedicated dirt setting and run it through a channel on my looper!
With your L2K if you use the pre amp on, or have a booster pedal you will find you can get A to break up on its own just a little. I can get it to do that with my L1500 a little easier.

Just ordered a Le Bass from Sweetwater, should be here before my next rehearsal. Pretty excited to hear it. Really wanted to get a tube sound going and been reading (and listening to) a lot of good things about this pre.
UPDATE: Received, plugged in and promptly blown away. This thing sounds amazingly rich...the best way I can describe the tone is that it took my somewhat sterile class D sound and stretched it out organically like roots digging deep in the earth. Full, wide, warm, layered. This was a nice save for me, as I was really leaning towards running my Mesa D800 as backup and getting a tube head. I still may do that eventually, but this fills out my tone needs nicely. Prior to this I was running a VTBass DI for grit and tubey oomph, but the Le Bass blows that away imho. Can't wait to run it in a band setting Tuesday night.

I'm using my Mark Bass compressore in the effects loop of my Le Bass I'm kinda digging it. I have a Lakeland 55-02 and I had to turn down the internal trim as it was overdriving the clean channel. I might not need the compressore any more but I'll see if it helps even out the two channels.
I run a MXR Bass comp in the loop of mine, although it only really has any affect on the A channel and Cold fusion, the B channel gets enough compression from the drive.
It also makes the process of getting channel A / B and cold fusion to a similar volume much easier.
Can the Le Bass be plugged directly into the FX return of any class d head to bypass the head's preamp? I'd be interested to hear your results.
Yes, I have, and the results are excellent for this and any other preamp device like Le Bass.

With my Mark Bass Head + 2x10, I get better results running into the head with the cab sim on (DI out) then using the EQ to counter balance the cabinet emulation. I'm only using the amp as a foldback in that setup though the main audience sound goes from the DI to the PA
So mine has acted up off and on, channel B would be very quiet or not working at all, channel A would work fine. Futzing around with the output jack would eventually get it going again. I messaged them this morning, they sent me a link to a document that suggests a fix. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else was having the same issue. I was surprised that they had a document to deal with the issue and I hadn't heard of anyone else with the same problem. I'll keep you updated on the fix once I've had a chance to check it out.

On the plus side, running PBass w/flats > TC Spectracomp (Butterknife Toneprint) > Le Bass in Cold Fusion mode makes me pretty damn happy.

Well I received mine last week and so far my impressions are that it sounds fantastic. I've ran it through the front end of my MiniMega and directly into the FX return. I'm really digging it going directly through the FX return using the Peaveys stellar 1000 watt power section. Nice clean punchy tones from channel A and nice natural tubey OD from channel B. Now I need to order the One Spot CS7 power supply with my Amazon gift card I got for Xmas.
