I really love the idea of this pedal - it "seems" to good to be true but man the more I read the more I think I'm getting it

So for me it's initial idea was to be part of a mini board.
The big board for my Distortion sound I combined Darkglass b7K/VMT and also a Mantic Beef bag and Hartke VXL. I managed to dial in a very meaty sound.
With the Le bass I was hoping to emulate something similar, not quite as thick just to pick and go and rehearse with.
I can get close to the sound if I really push it, but what I have found is a lovely voice all of its own with the 2 different sections and then the 2 sections combined 2 different ways and that is only scratching the surface as I am much more of a get a sound and set it and leave and kick in when appropriate.
Now this is going to sit alongside the big board for even more sounds! It really is a thing of wonder and you can get that lovely tube and that nasty tube sound as well as more modern stuff.
Remember you can change the tube in it for a different sound
Get it and have a play-you will not regret it

I got the cioks series flex lead so I could combine the mA out of 2 slots to up to 600mA as the pedal reports to run of 500mA.
The pedal did not like this one bit, on bypass no issues, when I kicked the pedal in, a spluttering sound on both channels.
I kicked one channel down to 9v and the A cgihannel worked but not B or both together
Seems to work fine in just 1 power outlet on 12v and 300mA on all settings, drive patterns etc.
Maybe it's a weird pedal (I did get it second hand)

I combined the 12v outlets on my Powerfactor 2 and my Le Bass worked fine. Are you sure the cable you're using is stacking current, and not voltage?
If you accidentally ran 24-volts into your Le Bass, I would check to see if it still works properly using the Two Notes provided adapter before running out to the store for the parallel cable

Turned it off straight away as I knew something was wrong.
Max time the wrong power was going through would be seconds.
I used it for the rest of the night fine.

What gain / volume settings did you have it on? were you running it in fusion mode when testing? these would both contribute to the amount the pedal is using, often manufacturers over quote by a little to leave some extra room. Also power supplies that aren't running at 100% are more efficient.
I tested it with various settings. From off to low gain/high volume, high gain/low volume, high gain/high volume, both hot and cold fusion. The setting didnt have that much of an influence on the powerdraw, actually. Only in the brief moment of the Lebass being activated the draw reached the 400 mark, but not quite. So any powersupply that can deliver 400 milliamps or more is safe for use for the LeBass.
I find this information quite valuable, since there are not many powerbricks that can deliver 500 or more on one output but quite a alot with 400 mA output.

I see the MA400 has mic and monitor inputs. Do I run di out of le bass into mic input and aux/iPod into monitor? Thx
For those looking for alternate power supplies i'm now powering mine with a gig rig modular power supply the Le Bass itself is connected to my "Supernova" my board is now much quieter although I suspect the noise used to come from other pedals the power supply they shipped in Australia always seemed quiet when I was running it on its own.
I'm going to buy one anyway
