It is very, very good, so much so that I am annoyed and disappointed that Two Notes only made the cab sim available on the Le Bass' XLR and Phone outs and not the 1/4" out.
I so could have went without the Torpedo CAB in my chain if I could have gotten cab sim out of the 1/4" (for my FRFR Fearless rig.)
Sure, the Torpedo CAB does it better and more, but for bass all I need is a good "Fridge" and I'm done.

I think it's excellent however I had the CAB 1st and is most certainly superior in my book so I never use the cab sim in le bass. If I had picked the le bass up before the CAB I think I would've been extremely happy with the cab sim in le bass.
I do agree it would've been great if the 1/4" had the cab sim, especially if I didn't have the CAB.
I also agree it is pretty dark but that happens to work for me
Here's a Le Bass tip for those who want to take a peek inside the pedal.
After removing the four screws on the bottom, I found that the bottom lid would not budge. Rather than trying to pry it open like a sardine can, I used a small suction cup I had on my bench and off the lid came without any marring that would have otherwise occurred using a flat blade screw driver or similar.

I built a smaller pedal board/case that I call my tone board. The pedals all give me the tone I need for most of my R&B and church gigs. The EQ (yellow) is swapped out with the Bass Envelope Filter (green) depending on where I'm playing. Most churches need me to cut 100Hz to lower the boomy-ness. This is a pretty simple board but I'll go through it. (Pay no attention to the power wires, I'm not finished with them yet).
Input -----> TC Electronics Polytune -------> Le Bass (The tone magic happens there) -------> Eq or Filter (Filter if I'm playing funk, EQ if in church) ----> TC SpectraComp (This is the greatest compressor I've ever used, look it up)
-------> BBE Sonic Stomp (This rounds everything out, cleans up all your phase issues, I'm never in the studio or stage without it)

If only I could find the right power supply I'd likely pull the trigger (needs to be small and also power my wireless [9v 250 mA], in-ear [12v 350 mA] plus ideally a couple low-draw 9v)

Not according to the specs as Le Bass requires 500mA.
Cool and surprising it's working out for you - hoping it won't blow up in the long run.
The manufacturer has confirmed for me that the CS7 is capable of delivering a cumulative total of 2000 mA.
I have not had any issues.

I seriously thinking of joining the club. However, anyone compare this to the EBS Micro Bass II? Like the EBS, it seems to have most of the things I'd need. I don't mind the larger form factor is not an issue....
The Le Bass has much more flexibility than the EBS. The whole A/B Fusion Hot/Cold selection is more than the EBS. I did a complete comparison and decided to come back to the Two Notes booth at NAMM last month.
