Two Notes Le Bass Players Club

Hey! is there any way to route my other pedals through the le bass so that it acts as a clean blend / parallel signal so that i can minimize low-end loss?

Hi @Bassist96,

Thanks so much for your post! One option could be to add your pedals from the "Instrument output" and then sum the signal from Le Bass and your Pedal feed at a later stage in a mixer of similar to get a Blend of Le Bass' tone and your Pedal's processing.

Let us know how you get on!

I have a two notes Revolt. I have "experimented" with various configurations to include pedals. I personally have never loss bottom end, but it's probably dependant on what pedals (&how they are) used. One that may be of use to U is to use a di . Use the parallel input (or thru)to complete the normal chain, and send balanced out to desk, along with the di out of la bass. To get true seperation would entail adding a 2 input stereo(2 out) sub mixer.. fiddly..

@AmyTwonotes - can you tell me if I need to do anything specific as far as replacing my tube in my Le Bass preamp? I'm getting a high pitched noise from my pedal that seems like it might be due to a microphonic tube and I'm just wondering what you'd recommend for a replacement and anything to be aware of when I do the actual swap?
Thanks!

Hi @Rod Harder,

Thanks so much for getting in touch! I'd recommend getting in touch with our Helpdesk and one our specialists can remotely diagnose this: Help Desk

There’s also boss IR 200 that’s another option slightly bigger unit than the cab m and also has midi and eq. You can easily put it on the effects loop and have different sounds for the fusion modes as well as Chanel A and B.

Question for Boss IR-200 users:
Can it be used to create a bi-amp rig, using channels A and B as totally separate units?
I'd love to replicate what the Orange Bass Butler does, only hoping to find cabsims that do not sound as sh*tty.

Most pre amp tubes (12ax7 12 au ECT) will last year's.. out put tubescop the hammering..and need replacing.. IF your 12ax7 is microphonic , very easily identified, just tap it ( lightly), IF the taps are audible, then the tube is microphonic.
I believe your problem lies elsewhere.

Hi all, IV not been on TB much lately.
My little trio has finally found a drummer, who me and the guitarist are really happy with (& he seems really happy with us!)
Anyway, IV played 8 gigs with the Two Notes Revolt now , and I am stoked with it. 6 of those shows I went XLR di out (no amp). The Volts speaker Sim is brilliant. The little pre amp sounds, and dynamically response like a real amp ..2 real amps, a SVT & Marshall Major. I use a DG BK1 for solos over channel 1. Channel 2 for Marshall grind/clean, with chanel 3 for solos over channel 2.
I consistently get comments on my bass "tones" from other players, and FOH guys.. errr , I don't get many comments on my playing..oh well, at very least, I SOUND great!!
I'm looking maybe to add an origin effects DCX to run before all.. will post when I do. For now, I still am amazed how useful the Revolt is. Such a BRILLIANT little piece of kit .

I notice the noise gate in your effects loop. Does the Revolt get noisy?

Not the Revolt, it's" studo" quiet. I changed the pick up in my Gibson LPj bass , to Serek B90 . It's a bass version of fat single coil P90. On high gain settings all single coils hum think jazz bass with only 1 pick up engaged. Or r fender telecaster bass.
