Just grabbed mine as a B-stock from Two Notes, can't wait to grab it.
Thinking about getting a Torpedo speaker sim too, but I can't pinpoint exactly if I need one.

Any tips?

I had the CAB M. I sold it because the default sim in the Le Bass was better than anything I could come up with.

The CAB M is great. It has a great EQ and power amp so you can dial in what you want and go straight into the front of house.

There’s also boss IR 200 that’s another option slightly bigger unit than the cab m and also has midi and eq. You can easily put it on the effects loop and have different sounds for the fusion modes as well as Chanel A and B.

Hi all, I'm only been playing bass this year, so I have limited knowledge of todays gear. I'm interested in le bass, but I have some questions.
1. Clean channel, is it "flavoured" ie SVT or bassman or ???
2. Drive channel, same ..is it leaning tone wise to existing amps , or it's own thing ?
I found one s/hand , but it's 3,000 MLS away, so if I have to buy it , ",unheard".
Any input would b welcome.
If I get it , it will replace a tech21 VT...
Really like the idea of a tube pre..

Thanks, I'm also looking at the 3 channel revolt.. IV been looking at vids and it looks/sounds perfect for my needs, (I think!!). I will mainly be using for live shows. Can I run (standard 2 cable) into front (instrument input) of my bass amp? Or is the out on revolt "fixed" line level only ? Im aware with 4 cable, I can bypass pedal and use the amps own pre amp. It's not a deal breaker, just wondering..

I was just wondering what "level " the balanced XLR out is (could it b used for instrument in on front of bass amp?

The outputs on ReVolt (both the 1/4-inch OUT Output and the XLR output) are all line level. However you could run the XLR to FOH and the 1/4-inch to your bass amp's FX return as an on-stage monitoring source.

Why is it that tube pre/DI boxes like this, and others like the Sushi Box Finally, have such a hot 1/4" output? I still want to use my amp head tone stack after the pedal. I mean, that's what the FOH guy is doing when he plugs your XLR into the channel strip.

The reason I want to use my tone stack is because onstage I frequently roll off the lows that are backwashing from the PA.

I suppose, I could use some type of external Db pad to bring line out back down to instrument level , therefore run into front of amp??? Like I mentioned, it's not a deal breaker.
IV now narrowed my options down to 2 , your Revolt or DGlass infinity..
I'm still undecided..both I believe are Brilliant (but quite different!!)

I'm now leaning 90% towards the Revolt. Because I use 3 time based fx, I prefer to use the FX loop for them, not 4cable method. Im now lead to believe a simple "re amp" unit will take line out of Revolt , drop to instrument level, connect to front of my AG700 and use amps DI to front house . Dose this all make sense?

Hey @Old Ozzie Guy

Thanks for getting back to me. We would suggest against using a Pad to line into the front of your amp as you will be supplying a Preamp with a Pre-amplified signal whether it's attenuated or not - you might find the tone a little harsh. However, I can see the amp has an FX return - you could come out of the 1/4-inch output on ReVolt (which never has a cab sim applied) and go into your return to use the power amp of your physical amp. You could also send ReVolt's XLR to FOH and just use your amp for stage monitoring.

My MarkBass Black Line 250, believe it or not, has both 1/4" and XLR inputs. So what I do with my Sushi Box Finally DI/pre is to ignore the [useless to me] hot 1/4" output and instead split the XLR DI output with a " Y" cable. One end goes to FOH and the other end goes to my MB BL 250 XLR input. It's the only amp head that I've seen that has this double input connector type feature.

I dislike DI/pres that have hot 1/4" outputs where they presume you want to bypass your head's preamp/EQ section and go directly to the power section via the effects loop return.

From what I can gather,a passive ReAmp device will reduce any +4db signal, down to instrument level, most that I looked at also had a variable volume to "fine tune" back to unity . They supposedly leave all tone and dynamics , faithful to original signal . Radial and Walus Audio were 2 brands recommended from personal use. IV ordered a basic Radial one.
