  6. I so remember when ya'll choked and laughed when my T-40FL sold for $950 (matching number fretted and fretless necks)
     
  7. Bridge/neck is misaligned , E string is dropping off the fretboard . Bridge saddles are set in some weird random pattern.
    Any weight saving achieved by butchering the body was negated by the steel PG.

    $2400 is about average for a piece of ugly wall art.

    To avoid strangulation , keep all cables safely out of the reach of badly modified T-40s.

  18. I'd go with "over priced" as being one reason :)

    Plenty of Furys can still be had in the $200 to $300 bracket and that's store prices.

    Because (still) nobody seems to think a Peavey Fury is worth $450, and in this case you will have to pay to ship it.
    When you buy a bass from GC the shipping is $20.
    .
    And that is not to say I think that bass is not worth more than the asking price.
