U.S. Peavey Club

Not sure where you're located geographically, but if you live somewhere that gets a good hot summer, you can clamp it in a frontbow and leave it in the back of the car for a few weeks. Certainly not as "controlled" as one of those heat clamp rigs, but the inside of that car can hit 150F in the summer, which is plenty to loosen the wood up.

Or, don't jeopardize the bond of the wood and the composite, and just plane the board level again. That'll likely include a refretting procedure though, so either not the cheapest or the most time-sensitive solution. And that's assuming theres enough board to even level.
The frets are pretty bad, I thought about refretting this in a year or so anyway after I get my fret press and tools. So not a bad suggestion at all.

Kopper Pearl getting her clear coat. He’s had the body two days. Can’t beat the turnaround time for sure!

With my new build almost coming together I’m on the eletronics

Grind usa 5 stock pickups?
May leave stock (I did the caps ) ;)

and upload to YouTube for the sake of- never seeing a grind USA in the wild

On the other hand I saw what lobster did to a Spector with two Emg BTS preamps at 18 volts ? I think

but he had a preamp for each pickup!

I thought what if I paired it with my 70s/ alnico 2 big singles in and paired it with two! EMG BTS preamps just for the giggles ;)

My Warwick Fortress Masterman had a 2-band preamp for each coil of a Dual Jazz pickup from the factory.

The wiring is easy.
Pickup to preamp
Both preamps to a blend
Blend output to a volume, then to your jack.

You could have 2 different preamps in there also. Say a Musicman style 2-band for a MM pickup, but then have a Nordstrand 2-band on a P-pickup. Lots of options. Watch for my Summer Buildoff

I want to drop this question here since I missed the Peavey customer support window by 30 minutes.

Does anyone know if the Grover 145C4 Titan bass tuners are a drop in replacement for the tuners on the T-40? They look similar to the tuners on my T-40 bass with the screw holes on the Grover 145C4 being the main difference.

Okay fellas,

GC has:
An ash T20 that's all stock for $399
Two ash T40's for $649 each (seems that $1000 price for the last year has come back down a bit)
A black Gen 2 Fury (1987 I think) for $299
A 1992 black Gen 3 Fury for $399
Another black Gen 3 Fury for $379
Another black Gen 3 Fury for $399
A Fury listed in great condition for $399
A Foundation listed in good condition for $329
