I do believe that Slant Fury and T20 pickup was angled like it is to sort of emulate the Fender P pickup.
Not really, but that works. I mean on the P bass, the EA coil is closer to the neck than the DG coil, so by slanting a single pickup, you kind of get a similar tone. Look at the Gibson Victory bass. It did the same thing, for the same reason.
The SF in a slant Fury(I assume T20 too) is really large underneath the pickguard. Think of it like a big wide humbucker, with a single coil sitting on top of it, sort of in the middle of the two coils. I don't know how they're built, but that's what it looks like.
It could very well be a metal base plate, like a telecaster gtr pick up. Dunno. I have one, but I'm not going to cut it up
The extra meat under the hood with the Peavey slant pickup makes it sound right to compete with the Precision bass, where I think of the Foundation as a Jazz bass type thing but with more bite and aggression than a Jazz bass.

They were clearly gunning for the P and J with the Fury and Foundation. Hmmm, they both start with F, just like Fender....
It's mostly to accommodate the magnets underneath, they just butt up against the blade.
How is the blade/magnet configured on the Foundation SFs?

By "errors" , do you mean prices ?
£700 for a 70's Satellite P-bass , those things regularly fail to reach £150.
£400 for a Bass Collection by Marina !!
Just crazy stuff; an original Japanese Nanyo Bass Collection will struggle to make £250.

Listed as having the Cirrus preamp, but it has a mid sweep. Pickup is listed as a Cirrus VFL. Pretty sure they didnt pit a highly figured maple top on it then paint it black....

Easy enough mistake to make since the Tiger Eye Cirrus they're selling has the Milli preamp.

Bridge pickup wording is correct , they are internally active VFLs. Perhaps they've altered the listings as there's no "Cirrus pickup" mention in either of the Millennium ads.
I'm still struggling with them asking near £1k for a hack job T-bird. Look at the bridge position , it will be unplayable.
