I braced myself as I clicked the link (flashback to the reflection of the Speedo guy with the T-40 "prototype.")
It really should have been a production bass... but then I'd have to tell my wife I need to add to the collectionI have no problem showing off RicRiot! It's current (and final) revision has a Hipshot Xtender on the E and a wide-nut '85 neck on the 87 body. Thought about a bridge upgrade, but this one is just fine. Perhaps sometime in the future it will get a new pickguard, something flashy, like green sparkle or the like...

Wow...that one ticks all my boxes! I hope someone here gets it.US Millennium 5 found, supposedly NEW OLD STOCK...still has plastic on the battery and control cavity covers, and looks to have the stock, black-satin Peavey strings, and both sides of the neck are dead-flat. Funny enough, it's in a guitar shop/sporting goods store. If the bass wasn't 35", I would've worked a deal with them.
that is a sweet bass! I sold one about a year ago just like it...but that one is very nice!US Millennium Plus 5 found, supposedly NEW OLD STOCK...still has plastic on the battery and control cavity covers, and looks to have the stock, black-satin Peavey strings, and both sides of the neck are dead-flat. The pickup is the link. I thought the same thing as you after I posted it.I don't see a link...?
Yes you did. It has been reset up and is now strung with Ken Smith Compressors and tuned a whole step down. It's having an ongoing affair with a DSM SubAtomic bass drive and earning its keep as a heavy metal monster machine. When bands like Volbeat, Black Label Society, etc. get added to the set list it gets the call and performs admirably.that is a sweet bass! That Kramer next to it with the Spector branded pickups kinda rocks me too!![]()

It's a new project for me. Very hard rock so both Milly 5s are getting worked. Decided to take a break from the standard classic rock bar band stuff. My Super Ferrite Foundation 5 is handling my southern rock/hard country project. It's strung with LaBella tapes and I back the bridge pup off just a touch so it gets a subtle grind. I'm Havin' a lot of fun.Sweet! So glad it's serving you well...I need a band that plays that kind of material!![]()
No chance finding them on Ali-Ex.I need a cheap pair of Foundation pickups
