A little fun today. The slant fury takes it...for today... the Pat second followed by the dyna with the foundy coming in close behind. The Fury has flats on it. It has a fuller range sound than the Pat. I've been playing the Pat a lot lately... its mid range hot-head attitude really cuts through! I love this Dyna total player...I do wish in passive mode it had a tone knob like the Foundation. This particular Foundation sounds ok, it needs some fresh strings, I have better sounding Foundies...Pink Jesus comes to mind. Lol!

For some reason I can NOT find the Millennium Club, I've searched and searched here. I must be doing something wrong. Anyway, does anyone know if it's possible to read a serial number from Millennium USAs and find out a year of manufacture? I just acquired the "holy grail" Millennium for me, never seen another identical, long story, was in Canada, guy bought a pallet of crap from Peavey when they shut down their plant...anyway, it came in a Cirrus hard shell case, with a 1999 Monitor magazine in with the manual and all that. The millennium basses aren't even in the magazine yet. So the case is older than the bass, it's new for sure, or this is one of the first Millennium basses made, which I doubt, as it has the figured maple neck that it seems they started doing towards the END of the run. Anyway, 11104575 is the SN. Anyone know?

Are you building from scratch on another body? Just gotta make sure one pickup makes a standard, magnetic compass attracts N and the other pickup attracts S. This way you get hum cancelling when using both.
I had to talk a couple sellers through this on ebay when buying single/orphan SFs to match up to orphans I had on hand.

You might try the Peavey CS/Tech Support number (877-732-8391) That's what I did about a year ago. Spoke with a very nice gentleman named Chris. He was able to give me the Milly born on dates via the serial number right over the phone. Guessing it's a Mississippi number so that would be central time zone. Typical M - F business hours if I recall.

PS: you know the rule, pic or it didn't happen :D

Edit: looking at my data sheet my oldest Milly SN starts 1122, has a born on date of Dec 2000. Your SN starts 1110 so its got to be a little bit older than mine. Early 2000/late '99 perhaps? Please let us know what you find out.

My mahogany Patriot sounds closer to a P-bass with the tone rolled off, but it gets much more aggressive (and needing a lower EQ boost) with the tone up.

I used it for recording (hopefully coming out soon) where I needed to cover both types of sounds on different songs and didn't want to change instruments mid-session. I was surprised at how Rickenbacker-like the sound was - and it was much easier to get that sound with my actual Rickenbacker. It might also have my favorite neck to play.

There's still a slant Fury in the arsenal that's disassembled. The neck is very much like the Patriot, so it might go to the top spot once the refinish is done.

How do I check the N and S polarity?
