The prices on everything in that store are nothing short of ridiculous. I get the feeling that this guy's sole purpose is to inflate pricing on instruments because he surely is selling nothing at the prices being asked. I think that is an all time high for a T-40 at close to $1900

Will it "work", sure. But it will throw off the EQ points and sound like crap. Use B50K if that's what it was designed to use.
Need Some Ideas - How to Make a USA Millenium 5 Urban Gospel

Problem = my Sunday morning will be (probably) changing to urban gospel format.
Question = can any of you effects folks diagnose how he creates the bombastic tone?
Reference = Probably the nost notabable current sound is Matt Ramsey (video below - can hear it at 6:10)
Gear = GK Plex + USA Millenium 5
Some have said it's just GK, Stainless Strings and Bass. I'm hearing some distortion and compression. Unsure if there is some doubler or something else with it.

Agree with your assessment. Great player....very smooth and legato.
Definitely compressed and over driven. Active pups for sure. I don't hear chorus or delay on it but it could be subtle I guess. I think there is some frequency filtering going on also. Low and mid-high in front. Nice tone and I would say pretty typical gospel.
edit...I didn't catch it was a Millennium in your post first time I read it but that makes sense. There is definitely some effects happening for a Milli to get that tone....in my opinion....YMMV

One notch off the balance towards the bridge
Bass 2:00
Mid sweep at lowest boost a notch
Treble down a notch
Plex cut your high mid a bit
Boost treble a bit
Low mid I’d leave flat
Contour off
I’d choose the rb voicing but not the 800
comp I’d set the ratio very light like 4:1
here I used my GV with my gk VST

That's close. I think there is more on the top and bottom with the Kirk Franklin track and a bit more carved out of the mids. It has a more crystaline voice to it. That's what my ear hears anyways....again YMMV

I know a feel trying to sell his Unity, getting on for 4 years of trying. Another can't move his Foundation. These guys aren't asking dumb Reverb prices but Squier Affinity and CV level.
Few weeks back a G-bass made £345, not much more than I paid for mine years ago; less when you account for inflation. I also remember an aztec gold Millennium 5'er , did the rounds for a couple of year priced £325.
Afraid I'm starting to think my only option is lumping my remaining 4 dozen together as a job lot and take one almigthy hit.

Great idea if not for the $2100 container fee + export paperwork hassles
That said $2100 is a small price to pay if some other poor sod has to deal with the deadbeats,lowballers and tyre kickers we meet when selling stuff

I bet the crew here would buy half of them before anybody from the outside would see them, but maybe not.
Don't know who here is still buying basses like crazy.
I have finally stopped adding basses here unless something really cool and cheap comes along my path.
