Apparently I curl my right pinky up and rest it on the J pickup.
Have you test fit the electrolytic caps? The lead spacing is really wide, unless you are using formed and/or kinked leads.

This has probably been covered somewhere here, but I am looking to put flatwounds on my Dyna 4. However I need the lightest set made. I've already tried Fenders but they are always way too resistant. I have LaBellas on one of my other basses but they are still a little to strong at 43 for the G. Need something a little weaker! Don't know if it's possible?

Great strings, have them on most of my basses.
Never could understand North American pricing for them. OK they are imported but if duty was the reason then brands imported to Europe like D'Addario, EBMM & La Bella would cost us $100.
That's not the case, here TL jazz flats cost roughly the same as D'Addario, La Bella, EBMM and DR ; all $50. Rotos and GHS are around $40 a set.
I'll stick with round wound. The Daddario EXL170SL's I use on my Cirrus are usually under $20 USD a set
£18.60 here so about the same.
Personally the first thing I do upon seeing those coloured ballends is reach for the wire cutters
Thanks guys!! The gauges are about the same as LaBellas. The G is the same. But maybe the actual resistance is lighter.
My favorite roundwound strings are ten year old DR Black Beauties, I am not a patient person, so I can be happy with GHS Pressure Wounds.
I like Fender Flats, I like D'Addario Chromes Flats.
I have a set of EBMM Cobalt Flats that have stayed too sticky for too long.
I think I would like to try some Nylon Tapewound strings.
Never tried the TI Flats, or LaBella Flexible Flats.

I thought I had read somewhere that they are on the higher tension side as far as flats go.
I've listened to a number of YouTube vids where Nylon Flats sound good but I don't know how they feel.
I assume very easy on the fingers but are they sticky?
