U.S. Peavey Club

As usual reading TB forums and asking questions is a problem *** for my wife. :)
I wanted a p bass with a j neck, not to expensive but with a good sound.

My fellow TB'er pointed to Peavey Fury. Combing local ads I found 2. I made an offer on a black Fury and didnt get a response. I met with the first owner of the white bass and picked it up with a Peavey Basic 112 amp for $100, it has some fine line cracking in the finish, but sounds great. ( See orginal post).

The black bass was listed for $325, I had offered $250. A day after buying the white bass I get a pm if you pick it up today you can have it for $125!

The black bass has a few dings that fingernail polish will take care of. It also sound very good as is. Maybe a new pickguard in black or tort? I think it will become my test bed for Klein's P pickup with new pots and cap?

Thanks to all for steering me to Peaveys. No more bases for awhile***unless there is another model that pops up.

Can I join the Club now?
Nice pair of Fury's. Welcome to the club!

Does anyone know the difference between the Milestone USA Custom and the regular Milestone?
I've never heard of a USA Milestone bass, other than the guitar. I'm 99% sure the Milestone bass was only an import. According to the Peavey site, it was only made in Korea.
