OTOH, some would say the hardware on the early Peavey's was at a higher level of quality.
The triangle-shaped tree was meant to compliment the Peavey brand logo, also found on the metal "P" knobs.
Back when Peavey designed all aspects on their instruments, down to the smallest detail, with virtually nothing "off the shelf"....
