Hello all, I am here to join the club with my Peavey BQuad 5.
Plays like a dream. The action is super low. The interesting thing about this bass is that it is much easier to get a note to sustain. This is most likely because of the graphite neck. I have had it for a few weeks and have adjusted my technique accordingly. Never really tapped, but I the bass is so easy to play that I am trying it now.
The tone overall is modern and bright. There are many options to fatten up the sound. Slap sound is killer. Very in your face.
I got it from MNAirHead and it was a great experience dealing with him. The bass is practically new and the setup was great!
I know many people say this, but it really doesn't make sense why these aren't made anymore!
