U.S. Peavey Club

Is this the Patriot that was on the Tampa CL. I was tempted, but really didn't need another bass.

I'm not too sure where it originated....I picked it up from a friend, who's friend left it at their house (I live in Los Angeles area, It could have found it way to Tampa though in the past).

Thank you for buying my next bass. I will be shipping you an empty case for you to ship the bass back to me!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I kidd you. Sort of. Lucky man. Freakin beautiful bass.
Dibbs if you EVER want to sell or trade it. :ninja:

Indeed. It is sheer joy to play it. I haven't found a bass I don't like to play, but most just don't jive with me. Mostly it is because of my short fingers and all but useless pinky and so I usually stick with short scales. My Mustang is another that is sheer joy, but even it is just a tad too small and my fingers fall over eachother sometimes. The neck on the Forum is just perfect though. It is small enough that I can play comfortably, but the regular scale still lets me stretch out. I think it is the 8 inch radius...it really suits me well.

Found this little jewel today. The guy I bought it from said he bought it new back in the mid 90's and never played it much and it has been sitting in his closet ever since. Still had the original strings on it. Came with a Peavey hard case as well. The original manual and warranty card were in the case. I feel like I got an ok deal at $225 for the bass and case. I brought it home cleaned it really good, threw on a set of Chromes FW's and some Fender Straplocks and plugged her in to the Carvin. REALLY SMOOTH! Let me know what you think!

Does this qualify me for a #?

I'd like to join this club. Hopefully, my Foundation S will get the job done. Found it on Craigslist w/hardcase three weeks ago. What I've read on TB is true, these things really are addictive. Loud as hell and hard to put down. Was it worth it? I drove 120 miles round trip and had to shell out fifty bucks. Is this a great country or what......
