Beautiful color! In my experience the case only came with a piece of foam in the top that went along the length of the strings that often fell off or came apart or melted onto the bass since they were made.

Exactly. There are a half dozen of them in my garage, and every one has messed up foam. I relined one to sell a bass once, big PITA.
That black foam crap is pretty messy, but it gets really messy when it gets super hot, like during shipping in 95+ degree heat.
The felt-lined cases are worth paying a bit extra for.

You may be able to find a "Gibson" locally
went to hardware store and found a craftsman thin wall socket and 90 degree swivel "handle" $10 all together. worked like a charm
