I've seen 2 listed... one at a GC somewhere, and another in the UK, on eBay. Still wish I'd have grabbed the on from GC... right around $250, IIRC.

I have a TL-5 that has Bart's installed. It sounds amazing. (and I like the Super Ferrites)

The pickups on the import Grind are an odd size. The Bartolini CF5CBC is the closest match. I had to remove about 1/2 mm from each face of the existing route to fit them into my Grind, which is an early 2000's import with the Imbuya wings and the scallop on the lower horn.

I also added a John East preamp. It wasn't exactly cheap, so I can't call my upgrade a "poor man's Cirrus," but it sounds great. It works with the stock pickups, but the Barts sound a lot better.

$100 is an outstanding deal on a Grind 5.

Picked up a Mill 4 standard for a really good price the other day. Was planning on flipping it, but after spending some time playing it, and dialing it in, I'm keeping it! I've always been picky about 4-string necks... Jazz-width necks just feel like toys to me, and , after getting a Patriot recently, P-bass necks seem just a tad too big. This has a Jazz width, but the thickness front to back is perfect. I played last night, and for the first time in a long time, I didn't want to stop. This is the best 4-string I've ever owned! Super comfy, sounds amazing... I'm super stoked!

Emailed Peavey to try and figure out what color this is. If anyone can tell me, that'd be great. I don't see it on the Millennium color chart.

I still have yet to find a bass that has better feeling necks than the USA Peavey basses do. This includes all the boutique brands we have all heard of here on TB. The only neck that I think I might like more than a Peavey is a Stambaugh. I tried one at the NorCal Mesa Boogie GTG and it was amazing.
But back to Peavey. Yeah, pretty rad necks !!

I have that J/MM Millennium in that color, but with Rosewood FB.
Sorry, don't know the exact color (it's gorgeous), but I agree that it's a great bass with a fantastic neck. I was surprised as to how much I really like this bass - it has made quite a few of my US Peavey's expendable and they have hit the chopping block.

I just sold my '81 T-40 (Sunburst/Rosewood) which made me sad at first, but it went to a guy (and fellow TB'er) that really knew what he wanted, and he absolutely loves it. That makes it all worth the trauma of having to let it go.
