Does anyone know the size of the saddle-height-adjusting-setscrews on an Axcelerator 5's Wilkinson Low-Mass bridge? Or where I might be able to buy some?
Geoff if it's the same as the Wilkinson bridges I have on other basses and I imagine they will be,
they're metric and a 1.5mm allen key fits them.

The Peavey Axcelerator is totally underrated and under the radar. They sound SO good and are dead silent. Cirrus active pickups.
I guess it's about time to put pics up. The necks are swapped back now. My Fury and Forum. I'm thinking about putting a 3 band preamp in the Forum.

I love mine! The neck is fast and it's so comfortable to play. There's a little volume loss on the B but I make it work.
I can't recommend them enough!
I used to own a blonde Foundation along with a sunburst fretless, whose finish was ruined by the #&%$-ing foam case lining after not having been played for a couple of years. The hardware wasn't the best (2-saddle bridge? Ugh.), but for the price they were both good instruments and paid for themselves within a short period of time. Now the current object of my gear lust is a blonde T-40. Eventually I'll add one to the collection and get an upper-body workout to boot.
Interesting gig on Saturday. Played my Bongo for the first half of the set and then switched to the Super Ferrite Fury for the second half. The bassist for the opener band said he preferred the Fury tone over the Bongo. Amp and Sansamp settings were the same, any other differences were onboard the bass. Obviously the Bongo is active but I think this says a lot for the Super Ferrite pickup and how growly good it really is. Had Chromes on the Fury as well with EBMM Slinkys on the Bongo so this is also part of the picture but the main takeaway for me is that the Fury competes admirably with a bass 10x the price....pretty dang good IMHO.
SF pickups are GREAT, especially from an instrument manufacturer vs. a dedicated pickup manufacturer. I've played a lot of pickups (I have a bass with a swimming pool route originally just for testing different pickups/locations) and the SF breaks my top 3.

I think those honestly may be the normal size pickups, the one in my 4-string Patriot is pretty wide, if I shift the strings over there's enough room for another, especially if the spacing is a mm or so tighter at the bridge on the foundation than the patriot.
to those of you with super-ferrite foundations, can you measure the length and width of the pickups w/surround? thanks
