Hey fellas
What's the info on the RSB controls ? Looking at the manual it says active VFLs but gives no values.
Is it passive EQ then ? And if so what's the benefit ?

I had one.
Two VFL's with a 9V battery for the pickups but no active EQ circuit just the capacitor for tone.
So the controls are Vol/Blend/Tone.
I was not a fan of the sound of the bass but I am not knocked out by VFL's.
Body is beautiful and the neck feels great.

Funny thing is I feel the same about the Sarzo bass. Plays and feels great but never found my tone yet.
With so much choice it's easier just to grab another bass than work with the Sarzo. @mech kindly sent
me a wiring mod that I've still not tried.

Four and five string VFLs (active or passive and including the flat tops) fit in the Sarzo neck through PU pockets. There is a gap on the sides because of the mounting bosses but it doesn't look bad to me.
Indicator dots hand drilled and drop filled.
Hi Peavey Crew. I just wanted to pass along that a '78 Peavey T-40 in natural just popped up on Craigslist Maine for $450. Looks to be in nice shape and come with the original hard shell case. This is one of my absolute dream basses, but unfortunately were not made in lefty versions (never seen one anyway). I've thought about doing a trace of the body with the thought of building a custom version. Not my listing but thought I'd pass it along to my TB brethren because it was so cool.
A heads up, a B Quad showed up on eBay today if anyone is interested. No affiliation, just thought I'd share. I wish I had the coin to drop on it right now.
Fearless forecast....it won't sell. The gold leaf version is still floating around and it wasn't too much more.
If it were a 5'er, I'd buy it quickly.., very nice looking tho. thanks for the heads up
For a 5 string I think it's not so bad. And usually CL is somewhat negotiable.
Picked up a '95 Foundation a few weeks ago.White with a maple fretboard,which I did not have.My other Foundations have rosewood boards and was looking for something different,so this pops up on GC used for $99.00 and I made the move.Needed cleaning and some fixing,input plate was loose,bridge hardware was crusty and seized up in a few places.Set-up with LaBella flats and it plays and sound fantastic!
The bottom shot of the bridge is before set-up,how this bass was playable I don't know.The intonation was whacked out!
I actually tried buying that very bass. Went through checkout and everything only to get an email later saying that it was no longer in stock. Glad to see it ended up in a fellow TBers hands if I couldn't get it.
