Mine is a 1992.
Here's what the lighter tuner looks like....
and here's the earlier heavy tuner....note the hex nut and domed top...easy to spot the difference.

I can't find any Dyna with a pick guard, or one with that few knobs. Should I assume it's a Peavey neck on a random body? The fretboard color, well...

That looks like a mash-up of a Dyna neck and maybe a Forum Plus body,with changes in the neck pick up on top of that.I would pass on it myself.
My local Craigslist has a "foundation" clearly with a patriot body. I think he wanted $300, I didn't reply. There has also been a $200 foundation that has a big plastic plate under the strings with what appears to be dimarzio J pickups, on the Craig for a while. Gotta wonder what degree of nasty routing is under that plate...
Also saw a couple of nice looking t40s in the 300 range, they went away almost as fast as the $50 foundation ad I snagged.
Yesterday was a long cold day in Scotland, spent 16 hour fitting out a new bakers shop and it never got
above -3.
Was worthwhile though as when I got home there was a parcel waiting
Absolutely terrible thing to try and photograph 
but this 86 Foundation S has swelled the ranks.
The folks at MGR Littleton,CO were a great help in getting this to me. It's handed the trip over the Atlantic easily
and just needed tuning up. Still around 3mm play on the bridge saddle grub screws but the buzz free action of 1.25mm
on G and 1.5mm on E is low enough for me

Did you strip the body on that one? Poplar?
Have a 1993 Foundation with a red body that I've been thinking would be better not red.
Natural ash as were all the first Foundations. Pretty heavy. Your '93 is probably poplar which is very likely to have a greenish tint when stripped.
Thanks!...I figured mine was poplar, it's fairly light.
Yeah, wouldn't look great in a natural finish, but I sure would like something more low key than the cherry red.
I have a Foundation S that has a much heavier body, this is an older one with the trapezoidal shaped bridge plate.
Peavey just describes the Foundation S bodies as made from the "finest selected hardwoods" in their manual, which leaves me guessing.

T-40 Five number three and my second one. 1983 Sunburst. It showed up, relatively speaking, at a bargain price and is the project @kodiakblair helped me finance. A good buddy hand made the tort pickguard and truss rod cover and it was a great fit. I mounted the pickups to the pickguard instead of having rings. Had to add two screws by the bridge to keep it flat since there's no ring to hold it down. Now the neck PU is a really good thumb rest. This is how it should have been done, IMHO. Got rid of 6 screws.
Don't know the actual weight but it feels about the same as the Black one at right under 10 lbs. The pic is a little dark.
