Difficult to tell from the photo of the back. My Koa RSB is much darker with a straight tight grain.

That's my feeling too but different cuts will have different shades. I've mahogany ranging from a darkish tan to a near chocolate brown.
I'd offer to weigh them but my luggage scales just read 7lbs for my T40. Guess I wont be trusting themI wonder if it'd be considerably heavier, if it was koa....

So this is a brainteaser...:
YEs but mine has the (I think ) Schaller german P/J pups........and it drops NOTICEABLY when I dial in both sets.does your volume drop off considerably when you run both pickups wide open?
