This week is “new to me old Peavey USA made bass week”. I have a Millennium plus 5 scheduled for delivery tomorrow and a Claro Walnut Cirrus 6 and a Palaedium scheduled for delivery Wednesday.

He isn’t a fan of non-19mm spaced 5 strings. But, when he played my TL-5 with EMG 40TWs, I was reminded just how great those pickups, in humbucker mode, sound in that bass! And, it must be fate, my band just decided to do Miss Independent by Kelly Clarkson. It requires a B string. So, I’ll be dragging the TL to shows now, as my second bass.
WOW, that bass looks like an Alembic !! Same fretboard and inlays that they use. That blue is amazing, and those pickups are SICK !!! I'm SURE that's on your "bury me with my bass" list. I will have to listen to that KC song to see what you're talking about, but I'm def intrigued. Damn, that's SA-WEET !!!
Make sure to post pictures of them all. I'm going to be hopefully taking possession of a Cirrus here in the near future. I'd like to have Dyna, TL, or another four string Mill in the future. I'm just waiting for the right finish and condition to pop up.
Thanks! But no, it’s just a TL that I made into a good solid player. It was pretty messed up when I got it. I do agree that it’s pretty though!
Pretty nice early Foundation on Reverb. It has the rather rare rosewood fingerboard, Super Ferrites and the case for $250 shipped. Body could use a refinish but it is not too bad. If I didn't already have 3 basses coming I would have bought it. Better jump on it if you want it. I don't think it will last long.

$249 + $20 shipping + about $20 tax = $289 and they are both P/J basses with what look to be active PUs that Peavey used on some models. I already own a fantastic Forum passive P/J but I do not have a Peavey with Super Ferrites. What caught my eye was the rosewood fingerboard. I prefer rosewood over maple.
I have a Candy Apple Red Foundation S, black face headstock, black hardware, with active pickups and rosewood board. Is $250 the going rate for this bass? I have an engagement ring to finish paying for and that would pay some of the taxes at least (insert crying emojis) LOL.
This is one of the most amazing basses I have ever owned. This is THE Fender killer. It truly sounds and plays awesome and I think it looks great too.

That is about the going rate for one in good shape. If it is in really good condition and you have the original hard case it would be worth a bit more.
The very rare USA Peavey Forum passive P/J made for about 2 years.
It STILL amazes me AND pleases me immensely that the world has not caught up to us regarding Peavey Quality / Price. I can't believe that a quality US made bass with zero dead spots, the best quality parts and woods STILL cost same or less than a Chinese Squier. SHHHHHHHhhhhhh. Don't let the secret out.

I'd say the Dyna-Bass Unity is a much "better" bass. Right away, ebony fret board and Alembic style pearl inlays. 3 band active EQ. Plus, an active / passive switch. VERY COOL.
