I have and it works. Saved a neck for an old G&L L2KE for me. Give them a call and talk. Mine ran about 100 bucks to get a ski slope and twist nearly completely out. It's held for 4 years at this point
But does it warrant mention in the US Peavey club ?
His bamboo wing model was built in China, the others were Indonesian builds.
Personally I'd include it, folks post gear from 94 onward all the time. By then it was starting to be imported bodies/electrics/hardware mated to a US neck. Have my doubts regarding the origin of some necks after 96

There's a 1994 Made-in-USA Fury listed on CL in Phoenix AZ for $200. Looks to be in good condition. What was going on with these in '94? All USA parts, made in Meridian MS, or a mix of US and import parts?
And, are these any good?

What about this green Forum Plus? Pretty unusual. Posted on Reverb, but also local CL here in Phoenix. Is it over priced?

I really dig this green one...and its in excellent condition, but IMO way overpriced...or at least way more than I am willing to pay, still killer though!
By the looks of it, this has an import bridge (which is the same as all patriots), import tuners (which are better than the early 90s tuners, but not as good as the 80s ones), and likely import pots. The bar style string tree I *think* started in 89, so there's some overlap there. The lack of a truss cover should mean that this isn't the typical peavey "Bilaminate neck" construction, and is more akin to a fender where the truss is sandwiched between the maple neck and in this case, a maple cap. I have a few 90s peaveys with this style neck and they seem perfectly stable, and i have fewer woes about the typical peavey delamination that can happen.
All to say, yeah it's probably a good bass. $200 seems fair enough if it plays well enough, but if it's out of whack like a lot of these tend to be, that's reason enough to bring the price down for me. Worth checking out for sure if you need a P in your stable.

I think he quoted me $75 to fix my separating at the glue seam, twisted lengthwise, and fretboard humped T40 neck. I also have a 2nd T40 neck that I bought for pocket change that is warped. I will eventually send him both necks. They could (worst case) require a fretboard level and refret, once repaired. But, I can handle that myself.

OK, the warped Patriot neck is going out to WarpedNeck.com to fix the ski jump. I read all the reviews, and talked to him on the phone. It seems legit to me. If I can save a neck that I love for $75 plus shipping, its a great deal! I'll post the results when I get the neck back.

I've said before that my Foundation is my best sounding and most versatile, tone wise, bass. But I never really got on with the super thin neck. But yesterday I was working on some new stuff and used the Foundation and after a couple hours with it, I was getting used to the neck and really liking it. So easy and fast to play. This could be a new thing for me

Both of those look like beauties. That TL looks like it has some custom pups and pre on it. Guessing from the knobs that the pre is replaced.
