U.S. Peavey Club

Peavey Fury 1980's Vintage USA Bass9Goodmatches 'Peavey Fury 'Sold

This was sold over night! I didn't even get a chance at it! Anyway is this a stock color? With the painted HS, I'm leaning toward yes... I have a gold foundation that's close.

Cheers!

You're right, my bad on the HS, I look at a lot of basses in the morning...get 'em mixed up sometimes.

He says he "thinks", I was just wondering what y'all experts think.

Thanks.
Yes, it's possible...there was some color charts posted on here way back but it would be hard to find them.
Regarding the rosewood fretboard....the owners manual picture, tho not a photo, seems to show a rosewood board although I can't find mention of the option in the manual verbage.

Would love to see if anyone on here has a rosewood board version.

That Gold Foundation was a stock finish. Two gold Foundations have been here, one maple board, the other rosewood. Neither had a matching headstock. I think that Gold Gen 1 Fury has its original finish, as well. Seller is just unaware of Peavey finishes of the era?

I still have the Gold rosewood one here. It's an '84, all original. Note the "Foundation Peavey" logo, as opposed to the typical "Peavey Foundation" decal for '83-'84 era.
