I hate warwick dolphin bass.
Just got a Bongo Stealth, its the second best thing after my jazz bass

It's not the Bongo's shape, it's the colors. They're terrible. I saw an all black "Stealth" model on Bass Central's website, and it looked cool. I think I'd buy it, but not the 5 string. Spacing is too narrow for me. Not too fond of active pre-amps, either, but my Boogie makes everything sound good.

How many of the colors have you seen? A lot are the same colors as in the rest of the MusicMan line . . . . Graphite is really nice, and if you like reds, both Radiance and Candy Apple are good. I don't much care for Medallion Gold myself, but tastes vary. And the Stealth is really nice - I have a 5HH, and it's my favorite. I also have a 4HH in Lava Pearl, and while it's not really a "mainstream" popular color, it's really nice once I got rid of the white PG that Guitar Center seemed obsessed with ordering with that color . . . . got it cheap, though, due to hang time in the store!

I can't believe I forgot that bass. I don't care for most warwicks but dolphin is one ugly bass. Almost looks like a well executed wish bass.

Man, that's an airscreamer, made for the Trailer Park Troubadours' guitarist. I have a production buddy who bought one......and it's a surprising good sounding guitar.
I agree though........An Airstream trailer really isn't a great model to base a guitar on.

Bongos are awesome; you shouldn't need to keep defending them and putting down detractors.
