Yeah Tab is great. I listened to him a lot about 10 years ago. Has he done anything lately?
Seems like he tours perpetually, but I haven’t seen any new recordings from him in quite a while either.
When that album first came out, I wore it out in about a week. My dad was some pissed!
T Bone isn’t exactly unappreciated but never really gets mentioned nearly as much as he should. BB King wanted to be T Bone but couldn't cut it. T Bone must have some of the slipperiest phrasing out there.
Oh yeah, and if you want to hear some early techno trance influences then check out Magic Sam. I surprised his amp didn’t catch fire.

Ooooh, now we're getting somewhere. Poonanny is an exponent of a whole style of southern soul/blues with risque lyrics that is so under the radar I've never seen any of the recordings in stores in the Northeast and forget about hearing it on radio because, well, it's explicit.
